Sacred Journeys

Jo already had a longstanding website, which had grown clunky, unwieldy and hard to navigate. There was a lot of information on the site, some of it hard to find! My first job was to reorganise this information, which is something I love to do. The hierarchy of information is such an important part of web design and so often overlooked, but it’s what makes a website user-friendly.

Jo is a very special person and a gifted practitioner with a wealth of experience in many modalities of healing and a reputation that precedes her. She’s gentle, warm, open and approachable and brings a natural lightness and sensitivity as well as a grounded, open-hearted approach to her work. She also offers heart-centred yoga, meditation and breath techniques, workshops and women’s circles alongside her holistic therapies and physiotherapy.

She lives in the heart of the New Forest and spends a lot of time in nature. Her son had taken some photos of her in the forest, and I asked if they could take more, which they did. I thoroughly enjoyed matching the images to the different offerings, subtly suggesting the therapy within the image, such as Jo standing by a knarled old, knotted tree for the physiotherapy page.

I created a step-by-step ‘how-to’ video for Jo to follow to enable her to upload her blog posts and create her own events, which she is doing very successfully.

I worked with Caroline to create a new website for my longstanding business. After our initial meeting Caroline presented to me a clear vision of how this could look and function. I had plenty of time to explore and navigate without any rush and to be sure it was just right for what I wanted to convey to potential clients. It was wonderful. We worked closely over a relatively short period of time to bring this to life and Caroline was an absolute star. She is professional and also has a wonderful creative eye, able to bring concepts and vision to life, keeping the original brief at the heart. She incorporated all that I wanted with ease and also showed me where I might need to reconsider choices, and why. Her attention to detail was brilliant and I appreciated her manner, excellent communication and overall brilliance. Thank you Caroline
