Being in Beauty

Pete Bengry is an internationally acclaimed professional percussionist who specialises in shamanism and sound healing. He has always been fascinated by the power of sound and its presence within healing practices, and it naturally led to him becoming a shamanic practitioner, sound therapist, creative composer, music producer, professional percussionist and an international teacher.

Pete is also been a member of the UK band Cornershop since 1994 and was involved in the recording of the albums When I Was Born For The Seventh Time, Brimful of Asha, Handcream for a Generation and Judy Sucks A Lemon For Breakfast.

Pete had a website that looked dated, tired and lacked style. I was delighted when he asked me to redesign it for him. He had recently had some photos taken of him playing a variety of instruments and using his healing tools, which were perfect for the site. He also had some amazing testimonials from respected shamanic practitioners such as Sandra Ingerman and Caroline Carey, which we used too. Pete writes in a poetic style that is unique to him, so the tone of voice of the site perfectly reflects him and his work. I’m so pleased with the end result.

Glen Wilkins, my go-to for logos, designed a new logo for Pete. Pete knew he wanted a butterfly (representing transformation and trust in the process) and Glen used a ‘B’ shape for the wing shapes to subtly connect to the two ‘B’s in Being in Beauty.
